Here’s my opinion on Underrated rock bands I think should be more well known.
Blue Oyster Cult - Many people may know songs like “Don’t fear the reaper”, “Godzilla”, or “Burnin for you” but apart from that, not many people know this band. It has some good other bangers like Astronomy, or Cities on flame with Rock and Roll and wished people know about this more.
King Crimson - When people think about progressive rock, Pink Floyd always come to mind but King Crimson needs more credit. Their debut album “In the court of the Crimson King” is a godtier timeless album. The do have other good songs like starless as well. Their later year stuff isn’t really that good but still think King Crimson should be more well known.
Yes - Similarly to King Crimson, Yes is also a very good progressive rock band that needs more credit. Albums like “Fragile” and “Close to the Edge” are extremely good. Though some people might remember it from their song “roundabout”, their other songs needs more attention.
Omega - This one is a weird one as it’s isn’t in English but their instrumentals are goated. I discovered this band when looking through a fan album of EATEOT called “Nowhere at the Millennial of Space”, the ending song is from a Omega song that translates to “A girl with pearl hair”, and I almost cried as it’s was beautiful. Other songs are amazing as well like the “Remembering”.
The Velvet Underground - Ill keep it short and sweet but this band debut album rocks. This doesn’t come to mind when you think of classic rock but this band was very influential at that time. Wished people know more about this band

Do you count All Time Low because they made rock albums like Last Young Renegade and Future Hearts?

Honorable Mention: GYBE! Though I would only consider two albums by them to be good, F# A# ♾️ or Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven are God-Tier albums. Though it’s on the verge of Post-Rock and drone so that’s why I made it honorable.
