As of January 2023, I had pretty much no clue what I wanted to do after the forums shut down. I didn't think I wanted to use RTR, but eventually after being bored asf, I decided to try it, and honestly liked it. I had thought that it was better than the rblx.trade forums, despite it being lower quality (it still looked better than that piece of shit.)
Then after January and February felt the exact same, March hit. Boyyyyyyyyyyyyy, March was an insane month for this community. Non stop updates, 2.0 was getting closer, the Rblx.Trade story game released, the PISSCORD was hype, and a lot of new members decided to hop on. Leo even decided to release 2.0 early. I got access to it on like March 10 and it released on the 20th(Yes, I remember the exact date.) April felt really similar to March, so it felt good. Tradeables, which in hindsight, sounded good, were released, however the trades didn't last long, as people grew tired of them. Similar shit to march.
However, after April, the forums started to go downhill. I decided to call this the pre-downfall era, as things would only get worse, way worse. The hundreds of posts being made a day would soon turn to only ten posts made a day. Those posts weren't anything important, just random shitposting. It rarely got updates, and the server was being used more than the actual website. I was glad May was over, until June came.
June felt like a piece of dogshit. U2THX, a popular old forum user, doxxed Noova. This would become one of the biggest forum controversies, as it started the stereotype "Proboards is unsafe." Luckily U2 stopped, but people began to brainwash others that proboards wasn't safe, when in reality it was. This caused the forumotion site to be created, which people thought would be a huge step from proboard.
It wasn't. The site looked worse than average, hardly ANY updates happened, and nobody really used it. Leo would snap at anyone who stated that forumotion sucks. Later, u2 would come back and dox people again, and he made a list of targets. Leo banned u2 and praised the site by saying " apologies for being offline during the situation. Was busy irl. I was informed by tem that somebody got doxxed. THIS IS NOT THE SITES FAULT! I've ran multiple tests on site alongside a security expert and there was no problems. Like I said before, DO NOT CLICK ON LLINKS SENT BY ANYBODY EXCEPT THE VERIFIED USERS. U2 has a hitlist that targets people in the RTR community, if you're on it and they ask you to do something DO NOT INTERACT." That message was obviously meatriding the site. I was mod for a while, and it wasn't fun modding for forumotion. The admin panel was so hard to discover, and there were no real people to ban other than u2 alts. Eventually, i had enough of forumotion, as there were little to no posts being made, the site looked so shit, so I sent leo a dm about how the engine sucks.
Instead of replying to me normally, He said "FUCK YOU TEM I QUIT. YOU HAPPY? GO TO FUCKING ROBLOXFORUM IF YOU HATE THIS SITE SO MUCH." he began to mute me for no reason, and he tried to silence me. Obviously, leo praised forumotion constantly. His mod, ashbash, quit and he announced a new owner, Sam (who sucked ass at being owner.) He decided to ban me from everything because everyone took a message I sent out of context. We weren't really friends for the entire month of August , but we gained friendship back. That would be the end for a while.
Forumotion began to die, and users began pointing out that proboards wasn't unsafe, doxxes just happen from time to time and it's nobody's fault other than the person who posted the dox. The IP adresses weren't visible to anyone other than mods, so it was all good.
Leo began to catch on to all of this, and decided to bring back proboards. This sounded great, the best version of rtr was back. The hype didn't last long though. RTR Proboards caught what I call the forumotion virus. Nobody posed on the site, and there were no updates. Eventually, I quit the site and only make posts to say hi, I'm alive. Leo wants the site to die aswell. The only people who use it are troll accounts used for raiding and making opinionated posts. Me and others think it's time to close RTR's doors, but leo doesn't. Despite him saying he wants it to die, he does nothing, which makes no sense at all.
To this day, RTR is really dead. It should really be shut down soon. We can archive posts, and leo can just make the site read only, so we don't lose all of our posts. RTR has truly gon obsolete, and it's sad.
[v]tl;dr RTR was great back then, but sucks dick now
